Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Ms. MANN has been a blessing to me. I was in a very dark place and as we continue to talk it gets easier and easier. She listens to what I saying but she also gives me some tough love so to speak and tell me whats up within her professional career. But honestly i need it. The more we talk the better I feel and the more I can handle not going into my dark place. My journey has just began but im 100% sure she is the right person for me. Thank You Ms Mann

Alison is amazing!! She is a great listener and I always feel like she understands where I'm coming from. I've grown by leaps and bounds since starting therapy with her. So glad to have her as my therapist!

Alison takes the time to listen to me and what's going on that day even if she might have her own list of questions from my journal entries. She is patient with me and is very helpful in giving me ideas on where to go from the place I am at now.

Alison Mann is amazing. I was originally matched with a different therapist that only responded with 1-3 words during our first few exchanges. I requested a change in counselor before we even had our first session(I didn't want to pay $80 a session to talk with someone who didn't seem personally invested at all in my mental health goals). Better Help then matched me with Alison after asking me a few questions about what kind of counselor I would like, and I haven't looked back since. Alison really listens to me whenever we talk, and she even sends me things throughout the week when we aren't in session. Regardless of whether we're in a session or she's off the clock it's clear that Alison personally has my best interest in mind, which makes me feel even more motivated to keep working to become a better person. She does give you homework, which can be annoying for those who don't want to work outside of sessions, but I've found the homework to be really helpful in keeping me accountable and focused on my mental health goals in-between sessions. Simply put, Alison is the best counselor I've ever had; I sincerely find a 30 minute session, over the phone by the way, to be more beneficial than the hour long, in-person sessions I've had in the past with my previous counselors. If I could, I would give her an 11/10.

alison has been a tremendous amount of help and relief in the short amount of time i've been talking to her and i'm sure i've been one of her more complicated cases, haha. responded very well to and is actively working with my personality disorder that dictates a lot of my life and how i think, which i'm extremely thankful for, as this personality disorder in question is very stigmatized and demonized. alison is an astounding person who has single-handedly changed a lot of my anxieties and paranoia i have regarding mental health professionals. i'd recommend her to anyone regardless of what their mental health looks like

Although this is a new experience for me, I've been so shocked and amazed at this process. I was skeptical at first of "online" counseling, but Alison has made me feel heard and understood. And for that I'm grateful.

I really enjoy that she is sending me worksheets and responding to me in a timely manner. I appreciate that she is not only being gentle, but I've had a lot of years worth of emotions and she's really helping me sort through it.

Reviewed January 2020

I had such a hard time putting my primary concern into words. Alison was able to listen to me ramble & help me summarize my feelings into one main concern. And when I get off track or overwhelmed she helps me focus back in on that.
