Dr. Nicholson made me feel very relaxed from the beginning. She was interested in determining what my goal was and listening to me. She was able to see things which i did not and provided advice on solving my issues. Could not have been more pleased with our time together.

“We repeat what we don’t repair.” - Christine Langley-Obaugh

I am a licensed professional counselor in Texas with 8 years of experience in mental health and also hold a doctoral degree in counseling. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, self-care, and grief. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My primary approach is cognitive-behavioral, though I am eclectic in my techniques. I believe each individual's needs are unique and will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your specific needs and goals.

It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
