Erica is an absolute dream. I was really apprehensive about starting therapy again at all, especially through video conferencing and in a pandemic. She’s been able to hold space for me and I always feel safe opening up. She has learned to identify when I’m getting overwhelmed and help me pull back and take care of myself when I’m digging too deep for one sitting in a session, and get re-centered, which makes therapy a much more gentle process than I’m used to—I actually look forward to it now because I know whatever I uncover or talk about, I’ll really be ok and safe while I’m sharing. Also as a queer black poly femme, she just takes in all the aspects of my life, learns, listens and really approaches me with so much respect and care. Whereas I feel like other therapists I’ve had shied away from some of those things, she really dives in holistically and I feel actually seen instead of feeling I can only talk about certain parts of my experience. Erica is the best!!!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has been working with individuals and families for over 10 years. I have worked in a variety of settings helping children and adults who are struggling with issues including anxiety, self-doubt, depression, anger, school and work stress, substance abuse, relationship issues, family conflict, crisis, interpersonal violence and sexual trauma. I have worked with families to improve communication, resolve conflicts, overcome parenting issues and manage big life transitions. I am certified in different models of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Trauma-Focused therapies.
When stressful situations build up in our lives, the problems can seem impossible to overcome. I utilize a collaborative and non-judgmental approach to work towards creating a space where you can feel free to bring up any issue or concern. By providing security and consistency, I will strive to make a space where you are free to explore and build self-awareness about all the different parts of yourself. By examining the impact of life stressors, limiting beliefs and patterns, and our relationship with ourselves, we can uncover what may be preventing you from reconnecting to your natural and innate ability to create long-lasting healing and change.
I offer text, phone and video sessions. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
