Hello, my name is Emily Minear and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have been working as a professional counselor for over 5 years now. Before I was a licensed counselor I also worked in a psychiatric hospital setting on adult and geriatric units. I have practiced in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Emily is my life saver, literally! When I began therapy with her I was in a really dark place. After a year of therapy, I can honestly say that I'm in a really good place and still meet with Emily to keep me in that good place. She cares and she listens!

I have talked to other therapist in the past and a lot of them focused on situations from other patients that they have instead of focusing on me and my problems. Emily has not done that one and I really appreciate that because my situation and my problems are so much different than other people's.
