There are times in our life where we reach a point that we realize something may not be manageable anymore or has gotten bigger than we anticipated. I utilize a combination of traditional and alternative treatment techniques. Robin is exactly the therapist I need. She doesn't let me get away with making excises and is able to put things in perspective in a way that makes me able to really get to the heart of the issue and be accountable. Highly recommend her.
Robin is NO NONSENSE in the best way. She calls me out in a way I can hear. And is direct, doesn't let me get away with behaviors where I'm undermining myself , is patient, and is a great listener. I've made more progress under her than any other therapist I've ever had. I can't recommend her highly enough.
Robin has been so helpful in helping me learn how to focus and ground myself during anxiety inducing moments (of which there are many!). I'm still a work in progress, but it's helpful to have someone to talk about my small wins from the previous week while learning new techniques to help me cope going forward. I feel like she genuinely wants me succeed in becoming a self-loving and much less worried person and I look forward to each session.

This relationship works really well for me. It's been helpful with processing everything. I can talk about what's in my head without worrying that it sounds bananas. The suggestions, worksheets, and feedback have all been helpful. I like that I can just dump thoughts and feelings whenever I need to. I feel heard and understood. And, I like the format. It's a lot harder for me to be open in a face to face setting. In a face to face setting, I get distracted by trying to interpret body language and tone like "What did that expression/tone/movement mean? Was what I just said crazy? Maybe I shouldn't say so much." The chat sessions are comfortable in that I can be open so this can work yet I don't feel like I'm screaming into a void. It's a good match.
