Hey there. Congrats for making the first step in working towards healing. My name is Natalie Scott and I've been a therapist for about 13 years practicing in South Carolina and Washington State. My credentials are LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor - South Carolina), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Washington), MAC (Masters Addiction Counselor - Nationally), AADC-CS (Advanced Addiction & Drug Counselor Clinical Supervisor- South Carolina), and SUDP (Substance Use Disorder Professional - Washington). My work has been in treating Substance Use Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, Marriage & Family, Stages of Life and Career Counseling. The therapy style I primarily use are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing but I am experienced in many other styles. I have experience in individual, group, couples, and family therapy.
My counseling style is easy going and my goal when working with clients is to be client-centered and focused on assisting them in meeting their stated goals. Therapy success is dependent on my clients engagement in the process. My job is to support that process and aide in my client's healing and I do that by working to provide the necessary tools. I'd love to work with you if you feel we may be a fit.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Excellent! Many aspects of my life are continually healing and improving due to the excellent therapy Natalie has been providing me. She hears every word and is a great listener and understands really complex and traumatic stuff. She is positive, kind and it sometimes feels like you are talking to your best friend or listening to a soft grandmas voice. Yet she is subtley brilliant, appropriatly funny at times and really caring, never the stuffy professor type. She gives me exactly what I need and nothing more. So concise, brilliant and subtle. I found all suggestions, counseling and strategies very helpful. So excellent. I continuously appreciate everything Natalie does. Can she help you? I believe so she helped me with alot stuff: witness to kidnap/murder, survived attempted shooting, multiple injuries to brain, neck shoulder, shock/heart attack, memory loss, neurological issues. PTSD, insomnia, night tears, panic attacks, anxiety, depression, closterphobia etc. Natalie helps me continuouslly with every issue many resolved. Most importantly she helped me reconnect with my teen daughter while healing. I owe her for helping me get my life back.
I have been with Natalie for approximately 4 months now, working through several old issues (from 40 + years ago), as well as current issues. She is a great listener and really takes the time to understand the root cause of my issues and to offer me a variety of solutions. I feel like she really understands my personality and how this will affect some of the choices I make. I am very thankful that I have been able to work with Natalie. She has been an awesome counselor and I look forward to spending more time with her in order to resolve the other issues I am dealing with.
