I specialize in working with adolescents, adults and families and have been offering dynamic clinical services since 2001. I am a licensed clinical social worker in the States of Tennessee and Maine and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology at The University of Texas at Austin and my master’s degree in social work at The University of Chicago.
I am committed to offering compassionate and professional services to everyone who comes to me seeking assistance. I have worked with individuals and families in a variety of settings (in homes, community centers, hospitals, residential placements, outpatient clinics, and private practice) and facing a multitude of issues. Some of these issues include:
• Grief and loss
• Depression/Anxiety
• School difficulties
• Family or sibling conflict
• Blended families
• Pre and post adoption adjustments
• Foster care challenges
• Children with chronic or critical illness
The families that I see benefit from my broad perspective of an entire family system as well as my meticulous attention to the individual needs of each family member.
In my work with clients I teach healthy communication skills, empower individuals to make desired changes in their lives, enhance individuals’ understanding of the mental and emotional processes influencing their interpersonal dynamics, and assist those coping with the stresses of everyday life changes.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

She’s awesome
When I first met Elizabeth, I was in somewhat of a crisis and she has proved to be an outstanding and very responsive therapist. In about 10 weeks with her, I feel like she has gotten to know my story in way that feels very reassuring.
I really love working with Elizabeth. I have a hard time connecting with others and being open and she is so easy to talk to that I feel comfortable with her. I also have a hard time with being too in my own feelings to figure out what is going on and how to respond and she does a great job of helping me process things and find the right words.
Elizabeth is amazing and helps me so much. She is the best counselor I have worked with before. She is so comforting and easy to talk to that I’ve been able to open up about so many things and work through them when before I was so hesitant to share. Everyone needs an Elizabeth in their life to help them work through the tough parts of being human.
Elizabeth is great. She helps me think through my problems in a kind and logical way. I feel comfortable sharing with her, and already feel that she is helping me with my goals.
