Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Liz is an amazing therapist! She checks in on you when you haven’t responded in a couple of days and makes sure she understands what your concerns are. Additionally, she never gives her opinion she just asks questions to help you understand why you feel that way. Liz is also understanding of your time and is flexible in making schedules coincide. Overall, I would highly recommend her as she is a great listener and helps you work through a plan to get to where you want to be.

Liz has been a life saver for me during a very difficult time in my life. She is respectful and seems to have the right advise to give to look at the situation in a different way. The nuggets of truth she provides really makes me ponder my challenges in a different way. Thank you Liz!

Elizabeth is really great. She takes the time to listen and provide feedback for me to think and reflect why I feel a certain way. She does follow up checking in on my progress throughout the week and it’s nice knowing someone cares. I almost don’t want to recommend her because I want to keep her all to myself haha! No but in all seriousness she is great and offers open ears with no judgement.

I’ve been struggling for a while now with anxiety and depression surrounding big life changes/covid/divorce, and Elizabeth really feels like someone I can trust to share my struggles. Better yet she encourages me to pursue and recognize my triumphs, and provides support/encouragement and validation. She also provides a really thoughtful and empathetic, yet discerning/constructive perspective. I’m really thankful for the weekly sessions and highly recommend Better Help based on the experience I’ve had with Liz. Cheers
