Right off the bat what I like about Dr Malik is how clearly experienced she is. With anything we've talked about so far, first and foremost she empathises with many different people and life situations. She also asks thought-provoking questions more than other therapists, so she seems pretty wise. But the reason I have stuck with Dr Malik is that she's the most easy-going and laid-back wise listener out of all the 10 therapists I've seen. She expresses no pressure or judgement with her responses, advice, body language or even facial expressions. Based on my experience I'm sure that Dr Malik has more experience than most with helping people face very difficult emotions or issues such as addiction, rage or family conflict.

When I first started therapy, everyday of my life was defined by my anxiety and depression even when everything was fine. After working with Anila for a few months, I feel like my life has changed. My anxiety and depression have become things I may encounter from time to time but they do not control me. Anila has helped me ground my thoughts in reality and given me the tools to feel so much more stable. She is incredibly empathetic and comforting to speak to. I cannot recommend her enough.

I feel like she really cares and listens to me. She’s not all about talk therapy . She actually listens to you and then send you homework for you to do so that you can actually work through your issues not just talk about them. I really like her style and hope to work with her for as long as I need to :)
