Hello, I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of New York. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, relationship and communication issues. I have 10 years experience working in an inpatient psychiatric facility and 5 years of experience working as a Medical Social Worker. I received my Masters Degree from Fordham University in 2008.

My treatment approach is centered on a strength based approach, focusing on your strengths, rather than any negative attributes. With this approach, my main focus is to help you work towards a sense of empowerment and growth, ultimately leading you to achieve the goals that are most important to you. I have a strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and will develop an individualized treatment plan drawing on these proven forms of therapy.

I pride myself on providing a safe and positive environment for my clients and look forward to working with you.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
