Greg is the best! He always takes the time to listen very carefully. Also just doesn’t tell me what I want to hear. Very easy to talk to and always makes sure I’m in a positive mindset at the end of each session. Greg has helped me accept and change a lot of things in my life in just a short amount of time. I cannot thank him enough for helping me bring this “Peace” that I have been working towards in my life.

More about Gregory

  • 11 years' experience
  • Male
  • LMHC

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida and an IAPO Certified Life Coach who has been providing individual counseling & coaching services for over 10 years. I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University. I have experience working with a variety of issues but have specialized in working with clients struggling with addiction, anxiety and depression. More specifically, I have experience working with clients dealing with trauma, low self-esteem, relationship issues and those who are going through life changes. I also enjoy teaching life and coping skills, boundary setting and engaging in health and life coaching.

Working from a foundation of person-centered therapy, I may also use cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and reality therapy depending on the right fit for you. I believe no two clients are alike and that developing rapport and trust with each client must be a top priority.

I always strive to create a safe space for you to explore who you are, your varying experiences in life, where you are and where you’d like to be, and what you would like to become or experience. I do this by providing a non-judgmental, respectful, calm, stable, and positive atmosphere as your counselor.

Thank you for taking the time to read a little about me and most importantly, thank you for taking the first step! It can be difficult to take care of ourselves even when everything is going great, reaching out when things are hard is a big step.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Greg is an awesome therapist, especially for a first time therapy goer. He is super easy to talk to and helps to give an understanding that an individual may not come to easily. Greg is a guy who is certainly in your corner, helping me make it through these confusing times. Thanks Greg, you are awesome!

Dr. Gregory Walker was extremely helpful in clearing up some of the emotions I was still having regarding an aging divorce. He was able to quickly “get to the point” of the situation and offer clarity that allowed me to move past my issues.
