Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Listens well and is supportive and encouraging
Lora has been absolutely amazing! I feel so heard and seen and understood! I look forward to our sessions every week.
Lora did a great job listening to my issues and helping me find specific strategies to try. I wasn't looking for talk therapy about past trauma but rather specific tools to try to find what would work. She gave specific things to do the next week.
Having access to EMDR right after an acute trauma was very helpful and I’m so happy Lora was available
10/10 So nice and easy to talk to
She does a great job of listening, problem-solving, and helping me to feel confident in improving my life.
She is very smart, experienced, and eager to help. She is a pleasure and benefit to spend time with.
Wonderful and kind. Listens to what I am saying and makes it clear I have been heard. Helps me with my long term issues but is also prompt if I encounter new ones.
Great at what she does
Lora provides conversations that I didn’t know I needed. Her style of therapy makes me feel like I’m catching up with an old friend. She is very supportive and doesn’t skip a beat. I highly recommend Lora Hasse if you’re in need of a great therapist to talk to.

Lora is a fantastic partner in my journey to understanding myself and my challenges. She is an amazing cheerleader when I need her to be, and a wonderful counterpoint to the bad things when that is needed. I appreciate her on so many levels.
She has helped me tremendously

Lora is amazing and so talented. She helped me through my worst days! I highly recommend her
I really enjoy working with Lora. I think she is one who really helps me to understand what's going on in my mind, and she really is a sounding board for when I just need to talk. She really listens to me and she helps me a lot.
Lora is so amazing! She’s very honest and understanding and does great at giving a new perspective of a situation. I love her advice, she also shares many interests with me which is great. I always look forward to chatting with her and our sessions.
Honestly, with just one phone call with Lora, she had helped me immensely. My god, is there more to work on. But Lora is extremely attentive and caring. I couldn’t be happier she has been my first true experience with a therapist.
I honestly didn’t know what I was getting into I was worried therapy would be very clinical. It’s totally not with Lora. She makes you feel comfortable and connects with you on a personal level that allows you to open up.
Lora knows what she’s doing and I feel really comfortable talking about things that I’ve never told anyone before. I can ask her anything and it never freaks her out. I’m making more and more intentional and rational thought-behavior choices as I continue practicing what we talk about. I’ve had two other therapists before her. The first didn’t give me any strategies to try. The second was pretty darn helpful and helped us fix our marriage. We moved away, and when my new job overwhelmed me to the point of wanting to completely leave my career, I finally called my employer’s EAP number as a last resort. I was super concerned that I wouldn’t have time for therapy on top of not drowning at work and not being home with my family. Just the idea of rolling the dice and giving a new therapist a try after such a good past experience in a different state sent me into panic attacks. I REALLY did not want to go to therapy because it’d be one more thing to have to add to my unrealistic schedule. Like I said, therapy was my very last resort, but I knew I needed outside help. I hit the jackpot with Lora Hasse. She GETS me. She’s funny—that’s important to me—and she listens to what I say want help with, then helps me take realistic steps toward getting where I want to be mentally and emotionally. I started out with 3 things I wanted help with. After 8 sessions, I’ve got solid strategies for the first 2, and if I keep practicing them, I can tell they’ll become natural responses to situations out of my control. Now she’s helping me with the 3rd topic. I get that not everyone has the same magnitude or gravity or complexity of trauma as each other, but it is such a relief to get help with anxiety, time management, realistic expectations, leaving a religion I grew up in, and navigating unhealthy childhood family relationships and sexual abuse. Lora had freaking Covid when I had a meltdown and needed immediate help via text and she stayed online with me through it. I’m telling you, this girl is in a much healthier, calmer mindset and I’m not having panic attacks anymore.
Lora has been so helpful. She’s a great listener and gives you the guidance you need. She’s super knowledgeable and helped me through my hardest relationship. She’s wonderful.
Lora gets my problems and offers real solutions to address things. thank you
Lora has been great- given high cost of therapy I could only do a few sessions and she has been very thorough in ensuring I have some great tools/skills to take with me in the short time we have. She is very knowledgeable, non-judgmental, and communicates very well to ensure understanding everything. Thank you.
Lora is amazing!
I have only met with Laura a few times but she is so good about staying in contact with me, via E mail , I find that it helps me stay on ttack
I have met with Lora individually and through text and she has helped me tremendously. I love how down to earth she is and she gives me homework that is do-able and realistic. She deals with the issues at hand and doesn’t stew back to things I don’t care to talk about that day, but might want to come back on another. She’s been super helpful with texts, has been on time with our individual meetings, it’s been really nice to have a different point of view and be able to share my point of view with someone that takes a step back to see it too.
Lora is compassionate and honest all at the same time. I like her approach... It's sensitive but also she is always looking for an opportunity to help guide me in a better direction. I appreciate her.
Lora has been able to identify and understand my difficulties without judgement or condemnation. And she doesn't just tell me what I want to hear to keep me coming back. She is a genuine person who had the tools and ability to help me face my challenges.

I have multiple issues and they seem equally important to address. I sometimes have been overwhelmed with prioritizing those issues and Lora has help me at lot with this issue.
Lora is just great! She listens and has great stories that help put things into perspective
Lora is very insightful in all the areas that are important to me. She is very caring and always striving 100% to make me the best I can. I know I can trust her and look forward to our sessions.
Lora is amazing. She listens well, is direct and concrete with her feedback, and even open to learning about things she's unfamiliar with.
Lora is a super kind and respectful individual. She listens and speaks in a manner that makes you comfortable and at ease, almost like how a friend might listen to you (but with proper therapy education). She responds to messages pretty quickly and always gives great advice. She makes sure to talk things through with you, and doesn't limit herself to short answers or vague suggestions. Overall I really enjoy having her as my therapist, especially as a queer person in a conservative state. I can talk about my gender and sexual orientation without fear of judgement and I'm able to talk about my relationships without fear of judgement. :) I cannot recommend her enough!
2 sessions with Lora and looking forward to continuing with her, she’s awesome. It’s like talking with a friend who’s up on the knowledge and she’s comfortable to talk with!

Lora has been a Godsend for me. I have been at a breaking point and needed someone to talk to who could give me appropriate advice. She has not only done that, I feel the way that she relates to me and cares about me as a person is truly appreciated. Lora is absolutely amazing. I have told my friends, family, and coworkers about how lucky I am to have been paried with Lora, and how truly grateful I have been to have her the past few months. She has really helped me, and continues to help me. I feel that Lora really understands me and listens to me. She gives great advice, and encourages me when I'm struggling.
Lora is insightful and uplifting. Her experience and attitude help inspire me and see the value in my individual efforts. She is a great therapist.

Lora is understanding, smart, and an interesting person to talk with. I like her ideas on how to reach my goals. She is great at keeping me accountable and focused on what is important to me. I like her style of communication and experience that seems to help me every time we interact.
I’ve only had one session. But I’m eager to try more and Lora has been helpful.
