Hello! My name is Molly, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation in Tennessee. I started counseling in 2017 and have worked with diverse clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, career challenges, ADHD, and more.
I believe that the counseling relationship itself is important to your healing, so I want to connect with you. My approach is warm and engaging. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I believe that everyone has a set of unique values that are important to us, and exploring what is important to you in life will be part of our work together. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and many other approaches, but is always focused on you as the client. I will tailor our work together and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
I know for many people, it is important to know that your counselor or therapist has training and the skills to help you. I received both my bachelor's degree in psychology and my master's degree in counseling from East Tennessee State University. It is important to me to stay up-to-date on the latest counseling approaches and theories so I am better able to help my clients, so I work to obtain as much continuing education as I can through reading books and articles, attending workshops and trainings, and absorbing as much information as I can.
I know we haven't met, but I already know you are a strong person, because it takes bravery to seek help and work towards making changes in your life. If you want, I would love to help support you as you walk this path.
I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
