I obtained my Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in 2016. I have 24 years of experience in social work. My experience includes working with adults, children, teen parents, and teens who face challenges in their lives to reach their fullest potential. My belief is therapy is a safe space to explore and work toward positive outcomes, assisting clients to achieve their therapeutic goals and alleviate stress.
I have worked with clients regarding domestic violence, co-dependence, anxiety issues, and parenting topics. In the past I have advocated on behalf of clients which allows the client and families obtain greater success toward their goals. As your therapist, you and I will build a relationship of trust and understanding to work through the issues that are important to you. My work in client home settings, as well as a behavioral hospital and in clinical assessment have included several modalities. I am proficient in Cognitive Behavioral theory, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma work, Stress Management, complicated grief interventions.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Jenny is smart and thoughtful, and cares
I came to BetterHelp in seek of a therapist who could help me temporarily while waiting for a specialized trauma therapist. And Jenny happily stepped into that role and has been helpful this short time that I've been working with her. I'm not sure how much longer I have with Jenny, but having the perspective that I need from a therapist while going through this all has been very helpful. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you for your help in everything, Jenny. It has truly been a blessing in this short time.
I have only had one session and it was effective so far. I think she shared some good ideas with me and explained why I'm experiencing what I am. I am excited to learn more.
I had a great experience working with Jenny. She was able to support me when I was going through a very difficult time. She provided insights and tools that helped me cope with a challenging personal situation. I plan to continue to use these tools going forward. Jenny was easy to talk to and empathetic.
Jenny is so attentive and responsive. Appreciate all her support. Highly recommend.

She knows a lot about my issues
Very down-to-earth, realistic, and very helpful
Jenny has been wonderful. As someone who was nervous and leery of therapy she has put my mind at ease and is someone I fully trust to help me through this journey in getting better. She’s helped me see some of the things that I’ve not allowed or even noticed before and her holistic approach to therapy is the best I could ask for. She’s already helped me tremendously in just a month and I look forward to what’s to come.
She is caring and professional. I would recommend her.
Jenny is caring and knowledgeable, and obviously wants to help.
I love having Jenny has a therapist. She is open to the flow of how things may go and yet focused on what my goals are. I love that I am given resources to use and try and homework so that I can prioritize my goals in this area of my life.
the best.
