Hi, My name is Sean O'Hara. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York and Maine with over 5 years of experience working in the Mental Health field. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, grief and loss, life transitions, and family/relationship issues. I graduated from Fordham University in 2017 with an MSW, and have worked in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities.
I am a solution-focused therapist with a person-centered approach. I strongly believe in the resiliency of the human spirit and identifying those things which motivate you as an individual. I’m very thankful for better help and my therapist. I appreciate the opportunity to do this work. I feel as though I am improving and moving through life much easier knowing that I can be honest and vulnerable about my experiences. My therapist is very kind and I feel comfortable to be my authentic self and do the work I want/need to accomplish. It’s not easy, it’s very hard. I have been seeing Sean for a little over 6 months, and in that time I have made some sizeable decisions that have changed my life for the better. I am 57 years old, and this was my first experience with any type of therapy. A number of life events had happened, and I recognized that my train had gone off its tracks.
