Hello my name is Linda Jarels and I am a licensed professional counselor with undergraduate and graduate degrees in psychology and over 20 years of experience in mental health treatment. I have worked with a variety of persons from children to the elderly and in various settings including residential treatment and inpatient acute psychiatric facilities. My experience includes not only direct patient care but psychometric testing/evaluation to adjunct college professorship. I am passionate about human behavior and have known since my early years what my life's work would be. Linda is the most relatable therapist I've ever had. Our personalities mesh well, there's not a lot of "Could you rephrase that?" She knows what I mean, and she's easy to understand. And she has been doing this for quite a while, she's definitely "got the chops" to take on a really complicated set of problems. And they are gradually examined for any connection to anything else, and I've been able to get rid of SEVERAL "baggage cars" on my "brain train." (I ruminate a lot.) Linda is THE BEST.

I’ve had the most fabulous therapy experience with linda. She has the depth of knowledge and breadth of experience to understand and assist me in navigating some very challenging life circumstances with both substance-abuse in a former partner and work life issues. I recommend better help and especially linda on a regular basis as I found it to be therapy that works for me at my pace and availability. It can be challenging to find someone that has a sophistication like Linda.

Linda has helped me with my PTSD and anxiety tremendously. Before starting counseling with Linda I was unable to leave the house or go out in public without having a panic attack. Now, I am able to manage my anxiety and PTSD symptoms so I can live my life almost as if my traumatic accident didn’t happen. She is caring, listens to your struggles, and gives practical advice on how to get better. Linda is a great therapist and has changed my life!

Linda is a great therapist who is willing to listen to your individual struggle and help with practical guidance on tackling stress, trauma and anxiety. Before I started therapy with her, I was extremely demotivated and was suffering regularly from my past traumatic experiences.
