Hello! My name is Debra Robinson. I am Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Missouri. I have over 10 years of experience working in the field of counseling. As Life is Precious, my goal is to help individuals live a “quality” life. Quality living is when there is a balance between the body, mind and spirit; an unspeakable sense of peace. I am committed to helping individuals gain self-awareness so that they can begin to heal and see more positive emotional outcomes. I practice from an integrative perspective, meaning that I typically use several different therapeutic modalities in my work depending on the needs of the individual. I have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. My clinical experience has included working with individuals, families and groups. I have a special interest in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression and anger issues. I know that seeking therapy can be hard at times, so I would love to make this process as easy as possible for you. My goal is to help you build on your inner strengths and natural resilience.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

I have been working with Debra for 6 months. She has done a great job of understanding my issues and difficulties with my relationships with my family. She has helped me make great strides in solving my issues and helping me keep my relationships with my family steady. She has helped me respect myself and to have confidence in myself.
I’m so happy with Debra she’s amazing and I have nothing but incredible things to say about her!
I only ever saw my deficits and thought that I was such a burden. Debra has shown me a different perspective and helped me reframe my experiences in a way that I never imagined was possible.
I was honestly worried at first starting therapy. I’ve done counseling in the past but never therapy. I was unsure what to expect. But God blessed me with an amazing therapist to start off with. Debra is a breath of fresh air. She’s understanding and listens to your concerns but challenges you to over come obstacles and change your way of thinking in a positive way. I highly recommend Debra, and giving therapy a chance.
Debra is the kind of therapist that holds me accountable while simultaneously creating a safe space for me to be authentic and vulnerable. She’s relatable, supportive, and incredibly kind. I’ve learned and grown so much since being paired with her and I am eternally grateful.
Debra Robinson is a great listener, she let me talk and chimes in when she feels like she has something helpful to tell me. We are currently working on Communication. so far, her recommendations have been very helpful.

Debra Robinson has been a Godsend for me. She is like a guide or a coach always cheering me on and also pointing me to reality and truth and helping me process my trauma in a way that will help me to grow from it and not be hindered by it.
Debra Robinson, made me fall in love with therapy. And is helping me embrace my humanity. I am grateful
Debra is absolutely amazing, we have only had two sessions and I can see a difference in my behavior and the way I think, I can’t wait to have more sessions with Debra!!

The best
I struck gold when I was matched with Debra. She has, without a shadow of a doubt, changed my life for the better. My self awareness has grown hugely to the point I understand myself and I feel grounded. I can handle my anxiety in a structure way, how I approach my relationship is considered and thoughtful, and she has given me the tools to work through my emotions. Day to day life is considerably easier, which is exactly what I wanted from therapy. Debra is very caring, prepared and kind. She has, over our time, adjusted our sessions on the fly depending on my mood/state/what has happened in the week. I have not once felt like we are following a prepared set of questions or script, which shows how brilliantly adaptable she is. On weeks where I don't have much to say are the ones I leave with the most valuable messages. I love my sessions with Debra and honestly could not recommend her enough.
I’ve met with Debra twice, and since day one, she has given me tools to use to better my depression and anxiety. For me I appreciate that she also is a Christian and is able to add my faith into my therapy. I strongly recommend her!

My experience with Debra has been nothing but the best. She gives great advice and helps me work through my personal stuff. She definitely call me out on my stuff but i love That about her! She has helped me so much mentally and emotionally.
Debra is simply put the best therapist I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! She’s attentive, hears you out, offers great advice and most importantly, you can tell that she genuinely cares! She goes above and beyond to allow me to get the most out of each session, and always comes prepared with great and relevant materials for us to cover each week. I would highly recommend Debra to anyone looking to start or even looking to get back into therapy.
