  • LCSW

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Connecticut, who has been working in the field for over 10 years. I have a background in fine arts, and a master's degree from UCONN School of Social Work. I've worked in addiction counseling, clinical community work, and as a school social worker in varying levels of care. I have helped clients tackle a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, addiction, and PTSD. I have assisted adults, young adults and teens build skills to continue on a successful path through both individual and group sessions.

I believe in the power of talk therapy, and generally utilize CBT methods and Motivational Interviewing in my sessions. I provide a warm, friendly environment and have a natural ability to connect with others on a therapeutic level. I have had many life experiences, which provide me with the empathy and understanding necessary for good social work. I am a positive, forward thinker, who will help set attainable goals to reach your best self.

I am open to all needs from all people. I have zero tolerance for any hate or discrimination. I understand how hard it can be to take the first step and to begin this process. I am here to support, help and guide you through your thoughts, feelings and beyond. And I love to laugh and have fun while doing it! I look forward to meeting you!

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
