I am a newly Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Louisiana with a total of five years experience working in the mental health field. I have worked with clients with depression, anxiety, ADHD, ODD, IED, Adjustment Disorder, grief, and Autism and I describe myself as a Christian counselor.
I believe in promoting autonomy for my clients and allowing them to lead conversations and discussions while I guide them to discovering deeper meanings about their thoughts and emotions. You, as the client, are in the driver’s seat and behind the wheel while I am in the passenger seat with the map providing direction.
I am truly humbled and honored that you would consider inviting me to join you on this journey and I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I have been working with Carly for a couple of months now and it's been fantastic. She lets me talk through what I need to and never makes me feel negative about anything I bring up. I have learned new ways to work with my thoughts/emotions/self image and plan on continuing to work with her for a while longer. Thanks Carly!

Carly is wonderful! She understands exactly what my struggles are and she relates to me in a very professional yet comforting manner. I love working with her and I am so grateful for it! She checks in on me which is greatly appreciated because sometimes I forget to speak up when I have an internal struggle going on.. she really is just a blessing!
Carly has been a tremendous help to get my mental health healthy again. She’s very insightful and encouraging.
