I completed my Masters of Social Work at Wayne State University. I am a fully licensed clinical social worker. I have been working with individuals, couples and families since 2018. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but have experience with other therapy styles as well. I have worked with people who experience MDD, GAD, BPD, ADHD, PTSD, DMDD and symptoms that may not meet full diagnostic criteria but are still looking for therapy.
I aim to provide client-led, strengths-based services. I want you to feel welcomed, comfortable and in charge of your mental health. I can provide structured sessions with home-work to complete between sessions or more relaxed and flexible appointments that do not follow a set agenda. Your health and safety is my number one concern.
Looking forward to meeting you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Sara is extremely professional
An absolute delight, full of interesting suggestions when it comes to coping skills and I have been in and out of therapy for years. She's a great listener and very kind with a positive calming presence. Her willingness to send me little reminder messages in between therapy sessions is also a really cool. I've never had that with a therapist before. I feel like it provides an extra layer of support and accountability. I feel like I can be totally candid with Sara about some of the darker sides of my life and open about my more alternative lifestyle without judgment. She is one of the better therapists I've had over the years.
After several therapists that I just could not connect with, Sara has been awesome in making me feel understood.
Sara has been the best therapist on this planet! I’ve worked with others and they just don’t connect with me as much as Sara does. I suffer from Bipolar 2 and even though she doesn’t have it, she genuinely understands my symptoms and makes me feel not so alone in this journey. I really don’t know what I would do without her
Sara has really helped me work through some trauma and family issues! I highly recommend her!
Sara is very easy to talk to. She offers helpful advice that can be put to practical use in daily life when mental challenges and strains are tough to cope with. My weekly sessions have given me validation and power within my relationships and I am no longer someone who is easily taken advantage of. I am able to confidently stand up for myself without the fear of hurting others that are close to me and I put myself first now instead of putting the needs of others before my own. Thanks Sara!
Dr. Sara has been so wonderful in helping me with my anxiety issues. She provides an amazing outlet for me and helps gives me a different perspective on situations that I need help getting through, past and present!
I feel so incredibly lucky that I found Sara. Years of therapy and she is by far the best at meeting me where I’m at and working with me at a pace that is manageable to meet my goals. I look forward to our sessions every week because I always walk away feeling empowered to confront my issues with confidence.
Sara is insightful and supportive. She has a perfect balance of holding me accountable and giving me space to figure things out myself. She’s also pretty funny.
Sarah is really knowledgeable and listens to everything I have to say. She helps get a game plan together and tackle the hardships I face. She’s been a huge help
Sara is the best therapist I have ever worked with.
Sara has offered me great support the past couple of months. She's given me strategies to help with my disordered eating.
Dr. Sarah has been wonderful to talk to and help work with me on my anxiety issues and also with Familia problems. I also have confidence in myself and knowing when I need to reach out to her or my support people and I never felt that before and she helped me see it's okay to do that. She also gives great perspectives on different angles to problems that I wouldn't have thought of.
She is wonderful. She is adept at actively listening and working with me to achieve my goals and meet my needs.
Sara has been great in consistently supporting me and helping me better myself in ways I understand!
