More about Molly

  • 5 years' experience

As a National Certified Counselor, I have helped clients find relief from symptoms related to depression and anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, self injurious behavior, chronic mental health challenges and stress, among others. I have coached clients through career transitions, and have helped them achieve their health and wellness goals.

My approach is LGBTQIA++ affirming and informed, client centered, and tailored to each person's unique needs. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing inform my theoretical framework, as well as somatic techniques such as grounding, breath work, visualization, and sensation awareness. Beyond specific interventions, however, the most important predictor of progress in counseling is the therapeutic relationship. Feeling safe and comfortable in a space that is free from judgement is essential. While I work hard to ensure these are present, your experience is what matters most.

I welcome the opportunity to talk and to see how I could offer support!

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
