Latara joins our platform bringing her experience in working with children and adults with varying mental health concerns (Depression, anxiety, etc) as well as her experience in treating substance abuse disorders. Latara also specializes in Family and couples therapy. Latara achieved both her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Fl. Latara has studied and worked in the field of mental health and for more than a decade. It was here that she developed her skills of working with various populations primarily through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solutions Focused Therapy. Latara has also worked extensively with seniors coping with the challenges of rehabilitation and life transitions. She has worked closely with physicians and discharge planners to identify and coordinate the appropriate support services for those in need of long term care at home and in the facility. Latara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, in the state of Florida. Latara has lived in Miami, Florida most of her life, only relocating to the Orlando area to attend school for her bachelor's and graduate degrees. However, she fell in love with the area and has decided to make Central Florida her home.
