Intelligent and compassionate individual! I felt like he met me where I was at and really heard what I was expressing. This is the first time I’ve felt like someone has had the expertise and knowledge to actually be able to help me.

Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota with over 10 years of experience counseling youth and families in a variety of settings including outpatient, school-based, wilderness therapy and residential. Most of my experience with clients has centered around issues related to depression, anxiety, behavioral dysregulation, attachment and relationship challenges as well as healthy boundaries and communication. I have extensive experience counseling parents of adopted children as well as working with youth with complex trauma and PTSD.
My approach to therapy is highly person-centered, and inclusive of Gestalt, family systems and solution-focused elements. I truly believe each of us has the ability to find direction, balance and healing in our lives, we just need some guidance and an outside perspective at times to help get "un-stuck". I am also a big fan of strengths-based approaches utilizing the innate wisdom and resilience we possess. I seek to work collaboratively with my clients to develop timely and action-oriented treatment strategies to assist you in attaining the balance and restoration to live your fullest life.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
