Hi my name is Melissa and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes that to have a successful outcome in therapy, the client and therapist must first build a strong rapport. I pride myself in offering sincere compassionate counseling services that are client centered. I am trained and will use one of several therapeutic modalities, depending on the issue at hand. These modalities may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Solution Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. An Integrated approach may be utilized as well.

I am often told that I am caring, sensitive, energetic and a good listener. I have wanted to be a therapist for as long as I can remember and I am so happy to have the privilege of getting to know you and be part of your life journey.

I look forward to working with you!

Melissa is incredibly warm, friendly and supportive. I love the questions she asks that help me move forward! She's very down to earth and has a great sense of humor, and I've really appreciated the ability to show up as myself without judgment. I also really appreciate being able to text with her between meetings when I'm dealing with something difficult. There were a few weeks where I really needed almost daily help and that's what sold me on this platform in general. While it's much more expensive than my co-pay, the ability to have a therapist text with me in real time when I'm having a significant issue is incredibly valuable. Waiting for a once a week visit just doesn't cut it in a time of high emotional need. I'm very grateful to Melissa for helping me through the past few months!
