Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Very happy that we found each other!
Rick has been there for me when needed and he offers me sound advice. He helps me to calm down when things upset me and offers me solutions to situations where I am not sure what choices to make in order to handle these difficult things in my life. He listens very well. I recommend him for therapy!
Rick is the best listener I’ve spoken to in a long time. He helped me understand what I was feeling by giving me space to feel it. This helped tremendously and it was just what I was looking for. In Rick you will find someone who hears what you’re saying and then presents it back to you and kindly asks you to have a second look at how you’re thinking. That’s all I wanted. I didn’t want a therapist who had “advice”. I wanted a therapist who would listen and help me navigate my thoughts. Rick does that!

Rick was a great communicator who takes great interest in connecting with you on a personal level, which makes the conversations free-flowing and an overall comforting experience.
Rick is one of the best therapist I’ve encountered. He listens and immediately applies a practical solution. He identifies what the “problem” is and offers resources that are very helpful. He is down to earth, funny and knowledgeable. I’m looking forward to future sessions with Rick.
