Zee is amazing. From the very first session she gave me the confidence that I am in the best hands. She listens to me definitely but she 'hears' me is what matters the most, she understands where I come from and why I am the way I am. I strongly recommed her.

More about Zahira

  • 5 years' experience
  • Female
  • BACP

I have worked with individuals, couples, families and young people for over 30 years before embarking on this privileged profession. I have experience in running both group work and individual sessions with various client groups including, victims of domestic violence, family breakdown, substance dependency and abuse (both within the voluntary and statutory sectors).

My training in Humanistic counselling and background in family and youth work allows me to use both person focussed and systemic models to enable people to achieve their objectives in 1-1 therapy.

I use an integration of various theoretical perspectives and can 'bespoke' sessions collaboratively with my clients to enable them to achieve their objectives from therapy.

I offer warmth, empathy and a soft landing for difficult feelings to land. I work well with people that are motivated to travel towards a more fruitful and affective way of being that will in turn, I hope, be life affirming for them.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Such a wonderful woman. Since our first session she found what probably is causing me all this anxiety and what my binge eating is coming from. No other therapist has been able to do that until now. I feel super good about finally finding someone like her.
