Hi, I am Eirini. Are you struggling and you don’t know what to do? Do you feel overwhelmed by depression or anxiety? Do you have relationship difficulties? Whatever your questions may be, I am here to offer support. I guide you to gain awareness of yourself, highlighting areas that cause difficulties. I help you to develop coping strategies, resolving the challenges you struggle with so that you can move closer to live a more fulfilling life.

From my practice, I have seen that the change comes from developing insight, new behaviours, self-acceptance, and compassion. Moreover, by understanding and re-framing the chained relationship between feelings, thinking, and behavioural loops. These improve emotional wellbeing. However, everyone’s needs are differentiated. Some people need short-term help, while others might need long-term support. Being trained in a variety of counselling modalities and talking therapies, I am able to offer both short-term and long-term support.

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and you will get a sense of how it feels to work with me. We will explore your present challenges. By the end of this session, you will have a clear understanding of what therapy can offer to you. Then you will be able to decide if I might be your therapist, in other words, if you feel a sense of rapport and trust, as the progress can be made through the connection we will build, in a confidential and non-judgmental environment. This rapport is helpful for the therapeutic process as it will help you to open up emotionally and provide further details. This, in turn, helps me to better understand you, and then I will be able to provide you with the most effective strategies for your challenge. In the next sessions, together, we invest time to recognise your unhelpful thoughts, emotions, and behavioural patterns. We can reduce or eliminate them. Thus, suffering diminishes, as well as awareness, compassion, and acceptance increase. We use activities to overcome your challenges and achieve the change you wish to. All the above, with a tailor-made approach, depending on your needs. In this way, we can improve your emotional well-being and interpersonal relationships.

Having 12 years of experience in both the private and public sector, I am exposed to a diverse client base, while I can hold sessions in English and Greek. I helped people cope with their distress and challenges, and regulate their emotions, promoting their well-being. After completing therapy together, you will boost your assertiveness and confidence in an effective way, you will improve your interpersonal relationships, you will relieve yourself of unhelpful thoughts and behaviours and you will know techniques to tackle similar challenges in the future.
