I have experience working with adults and young people struggling with various issues such as depression, anxiety, obsessions/compulsions, post-traumatic stress, substance abuse, mania, hoarding, and dissociation related to traumatic events, relationship difficulties, loss and bereavement etc. I have worked with people of various backgrounds, sexual orientations, genders, religions, and cultures. I am passionate therapist, who cares about what is difficult in your life and would appreciate the opportunity to help you work through your vulnerabilities, towards finding relief and living a more fulfilled life.

My counselling style is warm, attentive and non-judgmental. I work from a number of modalities/ perspective tailored towards the individual need of the client, I understand how past and current stressors can affect responses to stressful situations. I also utilize cognitive therapy which is a way to discover how thoughts affect feelings and behaviours in exploring unhelpful coping strategies the present as a result of your experiences. I have experience working with those struggling with past trauma and abuse and also work with trauma using EMDR approach.

I would appreciate the opportunity to work with you and look forward to meeting you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
