Welcome and thank you for taking the first step in investing in yourself and your journey of personal growth!

I am a professional licensed counsellor/psychotherapist with over 4 years experience. I have a bachelors degree (BSc Hons) in Therapeutic Counselling, a diploma in counselling children & adolescents and experience with other spiritual therapies.

I have worked with a variety of people, aged 11 to 85, who have suffered from low self esteem, anxiety and depression. I have also worked with people who have experienced abusive relationships, trauma, anger, addictions and much more.

I trained as a therapist following my own life experiences that led me to become passionately committed to helping others in supporting people who are struggling with their mental health and wellbeing. I am empathic, non-judgmental and provide a safe, confidential space for you to explore the things that are troubling you at your own pace.

My approaches are cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), person-centred, mindfulness therapies, solution focused, exposure therapy, existential and other spiritual therapies.

Together we can explore the difficulties that you are going through in a safe, confidential space, giving you my full support and guidance during this time. Through this process I will help you to believe in yourself and your ability to move towards those positive changes that you are looking for within your life.

If you would like to know more about what I do please visit my website at: https://www.healingwithsjtherapies.com/

I look forward to meeting you soon and working with you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
