AJ is amazing!
AJ is a very sweet. He is knowledgeable in his field. He helps me to manage stress and other hard things in my life. I always feel better after a session.
AJ was/is a great therapist. He listens and provides so many ways to cope and solve ways to troubles you have. He’s an extremely nice person and is just everything you need in a therapist. Difficult to put into words on how great of a help he is. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who has a choice. Thanks again for everything, AJ!
After almost two years of consistent therapy, I have improved my life and transformed it entirely. AJ has been nothing but amazing. He can relate so many of my problems back to core issues I have experience and consistently references my strengths and weaknesses so I can have a realistic view of where I am. He adjusts his counseling style to what is most comfortable for me, and makes sure I feel comfortable expressing my emotions and reactions. I’ve never had such a fulfilling therapeutic relationship in my life.
Excellent. Responsive, insightful, provides me with applicable, actionable tools & practices as well as information to find additional resources. Really has been worth every penny I have invested.
First time doing therapy and I’m glad I got matched with aj. He’s very easy to talk to and very helpful
I’m incredibly relieved to have found a therapist who is such a wealth of information and empathy. Since talking with AJ I’ve noticed a real improvement in my everyday life. I’m much better equipped to manage my past trauma, grief and the stressful stage of life I’m in with caregiving demands.
AJ is very knowledgeable and has helped me tremendously with dealing with my anxiety! Thank you AJ!
Great therapist. He has given me great tools for coping.
My sessions with AJ have led to measurable progress in both my personal and professional life. I enthusiastically recommend him as a therapist to anyone dealing with complex issues and trauma.
AJ is amazing! Very positive, empathetic but still willing to challenge my beliefs. He has helped me greatly to understand some unconscious thoughts and feelings that I’ve been on autopilot with and that has improved my life. Thanks AJ!
AJ provided excellent care in one of my darkest hours. Listened, provided feedback and coping mechanisms that I hadn't considered. Grateful for him and his care!
AJ is intuitive, gentle, and VERY smart in a variety of areas. He’s so helpful, I would recommend him to anyone
Alfred is the best idk what i would do without his support rite now.
He is good.
I’ve seen quite a few therapists. It’s been a rough life. AJ is by far the most effective and compassionate therapist I have ever worked with. Over this last year, he has helped me through a traumatic life experience and I owe him so much for the ways he listened, gave me things to read, shared techniques, and checked in regularly. He remembers everything I tell him, including names and incidents, and helps me to see those things in ways that contribute to improved mental health and confidence in myself. I highly recommend working with him.
Helps me understand how to deal with my problems and is very understanding and helpful
Excellent. Actionable steps. Good resources. Personable. Feel heard and seen and supported. Reminds me of my progress which helps me maintain perspective and motivates me to keep pursuing growth and healing when life is challenging.
AJ is extremely receptive, empathetic, and easy to talk to. His wisdom and advice is spot on and relevant. He’s not only excellent at reading an individual, but he will meet you where you are with full acceptance and understanding.
AJ has helped change my life!
Alfred (AJ) Knittel is a kind therapist who listens closely and takes close account of what you share. His focus on you and the areas you hope to work on are well addressed and include videos and readings about areas of therapy and psychology that I find extremely helpful. Whether you are looking to generally feel better, improve coping skills, or deal with a crisis, AJ is responsive, kind, respectful, and engaged. He's the best therapist I have ever had.
I’ve been communicating with AJ for months at this point. My life has taken a turn for the worse lately, but that doesn’t mean my mindset has to. I express my problems to AJ, and he responds with wisdom and strength and resources, etc. I have absolutely no idea what I would do without this guy. Even my worst of feelings are mended with the help of AJ. I brag about him all of the time. I couldn’t do anything without him.
With AJ as my therapist, I feel heard when I share my concerns and in the kindest way, I’m pushed to grow and address my thoughts and feelings. I feel safe to talk about my life and like I will receive the help needed when I ask for it. I appreciate it greatly.
Working with AJ was a great investment, and the experience exceeded my expectations. He helped me gain a range of new skills, tools, and perspectives to manage both myself and my relationship better, and now I don't feel stuck anymore. He is deeply caring, can be funny at times, and always so patient--can't recommend enough!
I love AJ as my therapist because I can relate to him. I especially love that he's licensed in Alaska.
AJ is such a positive presence for my therapy work. I learn so much and understand concepts more deeply because of his presentation and interactions with me. He seems to know what I need to move forward in a positive direction.
Great listener, superb recommendations through thought provoking questions and gentle encouragement. I’d recommend AJ any day.
AJ is amazing. He can relate to me on many levels due to his background being similar to mine. He understands what I’m attempting to communicate, he’s patient with my unreasonable amounts of information, and he always manages to give me feedback for each issue. He sends resources for me to work on, and they’re always exactly what I need. I’ve had breakthroughs I couldn’t have managed alone. He’s a great therapist. 10/10 would recommend.
I just finished the most helpful session that I’ve had ever. AJ is helping me to clearly identify the skills I need to do to improve my life. I wish I had found him sooner.
AJ is awesome! I appreciate him in my walk to recovery from burnout.
AJ (Alfred) listens to what I have to say. He responds in a professional manner yet is ready to laugh and banter, and that eases any stress I might feel about being in a session. He is insightful, a problem solver.
AJ was great.
I feel AJ is well versed and easy to talk to. I feel like he identifies with me even tho I am an older woman and he is a relatively young man. I love that we can laugh!
