About Me:
My name is Rachelle Cavicchia and I have 10+ years therapeutic experience. I have counseled adolescents and adults. I have conducted group, family, couples and individual therapy. I've experienced working with a variety of mental health challenges from mood and anxiety disorders to PTSD and psychosis. I have worked with a variety of psychiatrists and therapists. I have specialized experience with adolescence and have a secondary school counselor certification. I use an integrative therapeutic approach because I do not think one style works for everyone. CBT and DBT are included in the approaches I utilize.
Why Counseling?
Life is filled with rough patches and times of growth. Counseling can help one learn more about oneself. One’s insight and perspective become clearer, resulting in feeling more fulfilled and in control. It can also result in new ways of thinking, new coping skills and increasing a sense of security or self-confidence.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
