Heather was greatl! I had two unexpected losses very close together and was struggling with grief. In addition to obsessive throughts about sudden illnesses, I would wake up in a panic thinking someone in our house was having a medical event of some kind. She helped me to build on a few techniques to handle the fear / anxiety and keep the unhealthy, obsessive thoughts away. Thank you, Heather!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Heather is a likeable person overall, she is definitely in the right profession, she shows that she genuinely cares by how well she actively listens and you can tell she is really invested in finding the right questions to ask, in the right ways. She knows when to be serious and when it's ok to keep it light. Im generally the type of person that is hard to satisfy and can find something to complain about in regards to anyone and anything but I don't have the want or need to with her and the therapy she has given me. We bounce off each other well and I always really enjoy our sessions. Wish I had her in my corner outside of betterhelps platform, she would be a good friend indeed. Cultivating love and kindness your way Heather
