Shelley and I have only been working together for a few weeks but I can say that in that short amount of time I’m already figuring things out for myself. I’ve done therapy before and Shelley has been the best I’ve come across so far. She genuinely listens to my concerns and has already provided me with some great tools to handle my issues. We still have more work to do but I’m already experiencing positive impacts.

Hi! My name is Shelley Lauzon, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with licenses to practice in Georgia and Arizona with over 13 years of professional work experience. I have worked with helping clients with a wide range of concerns, including substance use, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, legal difficulties, ADHD, trauma and many others.

I work with my clients to create an open, safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, along with Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, and Person- Centered techniques. I believe the client is the expert of their life, which to me means working collaboratively each step of the way.

Taking the first step to sign up for therapy takes courage and I am proud of you for taking it. Whenever you are ready, I am here to be a guide and help you with the next steps towards a happier, more fulfilling life.

I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
