Hi there, my name is Mary Wilson, and I am a licensed clinical professional counselor. Here is a little bit about me, and I hope that you message me if you feel we are a good fit!

I take a collaborative, direct, and laid back approach to counseling using a wide variety of tools to help you meet your goals. I have experience working with adults and adolescents with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, perpetrators and victims of domestic violence.

It's important to me to provide you a caring and nonjudgmental space, and meet you were you are at. This empowers you to begin the journey to work on personal goals in the pace that you are comfortable with.

Whether you are going through a transition, need tools to have better communication with yourself and with others, want help dissecting a relationship concern, or need help holding yourself accountable to get “unstuck”, I can assist you on that journey. My top priority in the therapeutic space is to help you take an honest look at yourself and your situation and learn to make your strengths and challenges work together in a meaningful way.

A fun fact about me is that I love horses, hiking, and any sport that can get me outdoors! I want to open an equine therapy facility that hosts individual and group retreats, has a sliding scale and offers scholarships.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
