I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy in Texas with 3+ years of professional work experience. I received my bachelor’s degree in Art from Texas Lutheran University in 2010 then attended Abilene Christian University in Dallas, Texas where I received my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in May of 2021.
I have experience in working with children, adolescents, individual adults, couples, and families as they work through issues of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, ADHD, behavioral challenges, and enhancing parental skills. I view therapy as an empowering process that provides people with opportunities to learn about themselves, make changes, and live the story they want to live. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. I approach counseling as a journey towards something better. My goal is to create a safe, accepting, positive environment where people can explore their story as I walk beside them as a partner through their therapeutic experience.
In my free time, you can find me hanging out with my precious family and my dogs, Dottie, Minnie, and Annie. I enjoy watching movies with my husband (especially Star Wars and Lord of the Rings), reading, singing and dancing in the car with her son, and telling corny jokes.
Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started! I can't wait to get started on this journey with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
