I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 14 years of experience working as a therapist with adults to help them process life as it happens and take control over what is perceived to be out of control. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, mood disorders, personality disorders, and substance abuse issues. I have also helped many people who have experienced trauma and abuse. I pride myself on grief work and acceptance as well.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. My environment will be safe, confidential, and a place to feel listened to and heard and to process solutions versus focusing on the problem. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, trauma-centered, addictions-informed, psychodynamic, and rational-emotive counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I will help hold you accountable for your personal goals and successes as therapy progresses and celebrate the successes and maneuver the obstacles right along with you.
I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Great!
Ms./Mrs. Ashley Bayoumi has to be by far one of the best and straight forward therapists I've ever experienced in my life. She's caring, honest, and very directive without making it feel forceful and honestly I'm very happy I chose better help.
Ashley has been great, we have mostly texted and had our first phone session today. She was very nice to talk to and gave me her honest opinion on things I would like to work on. Highly recommend Mrs Ashley
