More about Kristalina

  • 4 years' experience

I am a personal growth consultant qualified in the UK as a counsellor and psychotherapist with four years of professional work experience with adults and adolescents. With a psychological insight and having the capacity to make space for others to heal themselves I hope like a catalyst, my presence allows others to transform by offering them a safe space to share pieces of their most intimate worlds while being supported with the therapeutic methods I have personally applied to myself in the last ten years.

As every person is unique so is the therapeutic process tailored for the needs and goals of the client. My background is in the domain of person - centred therapy integrated with traditional modalities such as CBT and psychodynamic methods. In addition to these approaches I also use more holistic modalities relevant to the demands of the healing process such as hypnotherapy and energy healing.

Essentially, my expertise is in helping victims of narcissistic abuse which is derived not only from my personal story but is also supported by ongoing training in this recently developed area of expertise. It may surprise you if you never questioned the sanity and moral values of systems but narcissism is enabled by all of them. It is the toxic behaviors and patterns we have learned to acquiesce either in family systems and personal relationships, or wider social systems such as education and the work place. Healing from narcissistic abuse is about telling our stories with the goal of breaking down intergenerational cycles of devaluation and invalidation that have caused us psychological harm. It is a path of disengagement and learning what is acceptable behavior for you and that you can choose to interact differently.

Untangling relationships with narcissists is claiming your birth right to be seen and heard. To have your own and separate identity, needs and wants, your aspirations expressed and recognised. Therapy is about receiving help to pull ourselves out of narratives that have never been ours. Narratives that define us making it clear who and what we are, narratives that silence us questioning our authority to have an opinion of our own, narratives that clipped our wings making us feel not good enough so we keep trying harder, narratives that taught us our dreams are impossible and fantasies, narratives that filled us with shame depriving us from our ability to feel and experience joy.

Carl Jung advised us to make the unconscious conscious so we can be free from struggle. Approaching therapy with the goal to step out of the invalidating shadow that has kept us silent, confused and hurt for decades is a call for freedom from cycles and social conditioning which have kept us enslaved to oppressive norms and rules and imprisoned to distorted self-perceptions. Authenticity and living a life unapologetically as who you truly are is the Holy Grail we aim for in therapy.

Therapy is a collaborative experience and a process in which we dissolve psychological boundaries that are defective, keep us stuck making entire areas of our lives dysfunctional. If you feel like ready to knock down walls, because it takes courage, with the help of a facilitator we can work together.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
