I am licensed male therapist in California. I am not allowed to work with anyone not located in California during the therapy session. I have 25 plus years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients and couples with relationship issues, family conflicts, child abuse, & parenting issues. I have worked with families, teens and children in the Department of Mental Health and in Child Protective Services as well as an Adult Psychiatric Unit. I cared for my mother 24/7 for the last four years of her life. I cared for a couple in their 90s for the last four years of their lives. At the end I worked with the hospice team. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Those who are religious I address that when appropriate. Those who are not religious I never bring that up. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

He has been very helpful with my situation!
He is a great man and listens to me and really helps me out with whatever I’m going through, I always feel so much better after talking to him, he’s been great help and I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a therapist.
Leslie is great and has already helped me in just a couple sessions.

It’s great!!
Amazing session - very helpful
It is going very well after my first session. He had great shares, and could truly relate and hear me. Highly recommended.
He was a very good therapist. His main concern was me and my health. He listened and provided good insight. Kind and understanding
I am recommending Leslie. He is knowledgeable, a good listener and empathetic: essential traits for a therapist. It was important to me that he had lived experience, which he did, and that put me at ease (along with his relaxed manner).
Leslie has a long range of life and clinical experiences and perspectives to share about with past trauma, validation, and dealing with family dynamics. Our therapy sessions discussing boundaries and verbal ways in going about them have made me more confident in myself in dealing with past issues and future conflicts. With the support of therapy sessions, practicing and refining myself on my own has helped me better maintain my peace of mind and take more productive action. Thanks!
