I'm Cesar Bueno. Originally from Brazil, I've called the UK home for over two decades, where I live with my loving family. My profound love for human connection led me to pursue a career in therapy, and I find immense joy in helping individuals uncover their potential.

Since earning my Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling in 2015, accredited by the CPCAB (Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body), I've dedicated myself to private practice. Additionally, I've completed placements at The Awareness Centre, NHS Surgeries, and TTP Drugs and Alcohol in Deptford- all in London. As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

My primary approach is Mindfulness-Based Experiential Therapy (MBET), which integrates various modalities including Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy by Dr. Habib Davanloo, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy by Diana Fosha, mindfulness, neuroscience-based techniques, and CBT interventions. I recognise each client’s uniqueness and tailor interventions to ensure a personalised therapeutic experience. Together, we identify the conflicts that are causing your suffering, that you wish to address, set goals, and define the desired outcomes, which I call the therapeutic task. My aim is to help you get better as fast as possible, as I do not believe that therapy must be a long process. This is the very reason why I am aways learning from approaches proven to be efficient and short-term.

In our therapeutic journey, we walk side by side as equals. My goal is to create a nurturing, non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your emotions and thoughts that have been influencing your behaviour. Together, we unravel negative thinking patterns, empowering you to approach life with clarity and resilience. You set the pace, and I’m here to provide steadfast support. Through a blend of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and neuroscience-backed interventions, we discover healthier ways for you to navigate both your inner world and the world around you. I see emotions having a natural flow, and fully experiencing them, rather than avoiding them, brings a sense of completion and transformation, accelerating the healing process.

Nowadays with the event of internet, I have found online counselling an effective way to work with my clients. I have English or Portuguese speaking clients all over the world.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
