Hello. I am Jen. I have been a qualified counsellor since 2018, and I work in an integrative model. What that really means is that I am person centred in my core – I believe that you are the expert on you, and that sometimes you need a space, and some support, to work out an issue or a challenge. I also draw on other modalities of counselling (this is where ‘integrative’ comes in) where appropriate to your circumstances.

I can work with many issues, and am happy to work with you on whatever it is that you want to bring. To give you an idea of the sort of things I have worked with more specifically I have supported challenges such as homelessness, addiction, family issues, parenting, adoption, study and student challenges, school attendance challenges, bereavement and loss, palliative care and life shortening conditions, child loss, religious trauma, work issues, and identity issues.

I work with adults and young people, and have a further qualification for working with young people as well as adults. I have done a lot of work with students of all ages too. I offer short and longer term counselling and I can see you face to face, online or by telephone.

Please get in touch if you have any further questions, and I look forward to working with you soon.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
