I am based in the Midlands with 3 years of professional work experience as a full time counsellor and I also have management experience for over ten years in a mental health service so I have a wide experience of mental health issues and understand the strain that this can cause to individuals. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, abuse, coping with grief and loss. I also have experience working with depression and general low mood. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our sessions so that you come first and we agree on a treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

Your health and needs are my priority and I believe in working in a flexible way also using my knowledge of meditation and relaxation so that the sessions we have are always positive and welcoming.

I am happy to work online and face to face as well as with single and couple clients.

As I work as a private therapist also, could you suggest days and time that might suit you and I will get back to you to arrange a time that is best for you as soon as I can, thank you Rachel

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
